How Should I Dress For Church?
We are more concerned with you meeting with God and being built up in the faith than what you wear. Although some of the pastors wear jackets and ties on Sunday mornings, most of the congregation dresses casually...slacks, Jeans, Hawaiian shirts, dress shirts, sandles, shoes.
What Language are the Services In?
Sunday morning services (9:30 am & 11:30 am) and all evening services, in the main sanctuary, are in English but are translated in Spanish simultaneously. Pick up a headset at the sound both window in the sanctuary.
What's Available For My Childen?
We know that as a parent you need to be sure that your children are in a safe, loving and learning environment. Here at Calvary Chapel we provide exactly that! We have trained over 40 loving servants to minister to your children, from Nursery to senior high. Our belief is that in order to be an effective childrens minister, you have to be a healthy Christian, in love with Jesus Christ, His word and His people. The Sunday school teachers wear a Calvary Chapel smock apron for identification. Each Sunday school class has both a Spanish and English teacher.
We also provide a Mommies Room (In the Nursery), for mothers with nursing babies, where they can worship with the congergation through a t.v.
What Should I Expect in the Church Service?
The service begins with a time of heart felt worship, followed by announcements, and a practical Biblical message that will help you deal with real life issues. We provide you with a helpful Biblical outline in the bulletin that is based on the sermon heard. The outlines include thoughtful application questions to help you apply the scriptures to your life.
