Whether you are visiting our website for the first time or even if you call Calvary Chapel your home church, I trust our website will serve as a bridge of understanding to the ministry and vision of this church.
My wife, Lynda, myself, and our five children (Nick, Karlee, Gina, Jeremiah, and Sarah) were called by the Lord to leave a growing church in Rochester, NY and to relocate here in Puerto Rico. We left the church in good hands with a wonderful staff of servants.

house in Caguas, Puerto Rico. As we met people, the Lord opened several doors for different home Bible studies.I worked during the day, and at one point, taught four different Bible studies during the evenings.
Calvary Chapel, started in July of 1998 with a handful of people meeting in our home in Caguas, PR. As we grew, we were offered the opportunity to share a building with another Christian church at 122 Condado Ave in Santurce. In October 1998 we moved to that location. After meeting for over one year in Santurce, we started looking for a new place of meeting. The Lord opened the door for us to lease our current location in Los Jardines de Guaynabo shopping center. We have met here since May of 2000, and have seen the Lord bless abundantly, with several ministries being birthed to bless and help our community.
Our vision for this church is simple: to know the Lord Jesus Christ and to make Him known to others (Philippians 3: 10). We believe that the Lord has raised up this ministry to primarily teach the Word of God in grace and love ("And the isles shall wait for his law" Isaiah 42:4b) and to be a spiritual hospital ("Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God" Isaiah 40: 1).
