Children's Ministry
"Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little children, he shall not enter therein. And He took them up in His arms, put His hands upon them, and blessed them."

At Calvary we want our children to know Jesus through His word and our Christ like actions. We offer nursery care and classes for children from birth to eleven years of age for all services concurrent with our adult studies. This enables your child to be taught at the level where they can relate to Jesus  In each class, we focus on the study of God's Word through a variety of tools including flannel boards, puppets, and other visuals, as well as Scripture memorization, prayer, and worship. Each class is designed to use crafts, games, and other activities to convey the truth of God's Word. Every two years we make a complete cycle through the Bible.
Behind all the puppets and crayons, memory verses and snacks, the vision of the Children's Ministry is to see this "young generation," from infants to early teens, acknowledge Jesus as Savior and to provide them with the tools for a lifetime of walking with Christ.
Nursery Ministry
Our Nursery provides more than a baby sitting service. We feel each child should be taught and cared for on an individual basis. We want to minister to each child at their own level of understanding, giving as much individual love and attention as possible. It is our desire to make the Nursery a happy experience. As we care for the children, we keep in mind what qualities of love and care Christ Himself would give. We want you as parents to receive all that God has for you during the service.
When you leave your child in our Nursery Program, you can be confident about the quality care that each child receives. Not only does the Nursery meet the need of the parents and the babies, but also extends it's ministry to the Pastor and the body by avoiding unnecessary distractions during services. Therefore, all of you can enter into meaningful worship and be receptive to the ministry of the Word and the Holy Spirit.
For those moms that have a newborn or are nursing we have a comfortable Nursing Mom room where you can watch and listen to the service while nursing your precious baby in privacy while remaining part of the fellowship.
Vacation Bible School
VBS is a fun time for children ages 4-11 to learn about Jesus and His love for them. Each night includes a time of worship, skit, Bible story, memory verse, games, snack and craft. For more information, contact the church office at (787) 720-3308. VBS is held for four nights on a yearly basis in the summer months of June or July.
